Coronavirus - ScotlandsPeople Centre Closure

In line with advice from the Scottish Government and to delay the spread of Coronavirus we have decided to close our Historical, Legal and ScotlandsPeople search rooms in Edinburgh. Customers can now order a certificate using the ‘Certificates and copies’ tab. Certificate ordering will be available Monday to Friday between 9 am and 4.30 pm (excluding public holidays). We have removed our priority ordering channel and collection option. We will do our best to complete orders as soon as we can however this may not be within our usual timescales. We will continue to respond to online enquiries but we may not be able to give as full or as complete answers as usual. Further information is available here.
