A Small portion of it is Still roofed and used as the family vault of the Cassilis family. Enclosed by a Stone wall & the space within planted. "It was endowed out of the provest and priest's lands in the parish of Kirkmichael, which fell into the hands of the Earl of Cassilis, upon the dissolution of the College at the Reformation" (Statistical Account 1842) |
