Shee (The), a small river in the extreme
north-east of Perthshire. It commences at the
Spittal of Glenshee 5½ miles south-south-west
of the point where the counties of Perth, Forfar,
and Aberdeen meet, & is there formed by the
confluence of a small stream called the Beg or
"Little" with the united waters of the Streamlets
Lochty and Faterich. It runs 3 miles south-
eastward, and 9 southward to Rochalzie, and
there unites with the Ardle to form the Erricht. &c.

Airdle (The) a considerable tributary of
the Erroch river, in the north east quarter of
Perthshire. It is formed by the union of two
Streams one descending from the Grampians ...
