Black Water is upon the authorities

" A well known name applied
to a water or river in the
north of the Parish of Kirkmichael
Perthshire, flows southward and
bears the name "River Shee" till it
forms part of the Boundary between
the Counties of Perth & Forfar, thence
it is called Black Water to its
junction with the River Ericht near
Bridge of Cally."
From the description in the
Gazetteer the "Shee" appears to be the
name of the River from its source till
it is joined by the Airdle. The Airdle
to the Ericht or Erroch ...
