An old farm steading now used as a cotter;s dwelling. There are some houses near this, which are sometimes called Pyatshaw and sometimes Mauchan - from being feued off the Lands of Mauchan. Properly speaking they have no name, as stated by. Mr Marshall, but must be identified with the nearest names. |
