054 | While the field South of Coldwells was undergoing certain improvements the workmen came across three Urns, one large and two smaller ones. The large Urn Contained ashes and the smaller ones human bones. The whole of the Urns were broken in getting them from underground, and but few pieces of them were preserved, and they gradually disappeared also Curiosity seekers, visiting this part of the County, begged them from the farmer, the last piece being presented to the Revd. [Reverend] Mr. Davidson, Minister of Inverury. |
