133 | The parish of Clackmannan is in the County of Clackmannan, Presbytery of Stirling, Synod of Perth and Stirling. The parish is in two parts, the largest portion containing about 8840 Statute Acres, is bounded on the West and north by the parishes of Alloa, Tillicoultry, and Dollar in the County of Clackmannan; on the east, by the parish of Fossaway in the County of Perth and the parish of Saline in the County of Fife; and on the South and South West by the parishes of Culross and Tulliallan in the County of Perth; and the parish of Airth in Stirlingshire. This portion contains the parish Church and Village of Clackmannan. The other portion which is detached, contains a Quoad Sacra Church in the Village of Sauchie and it is locally situated between the parishes of Alloa, Alva and Tillicoultry And it contains about 1028 Statute acres. |
