The parish of Alloa is bounded on the east by the parishes of Clackmannan, Tillicoultry, and a detached part of Clackmannan parish. on the north and West by the parish of Alva in Stirlingshire and the parish of Logie in Clackmannanshire and Perthshire and on the south by the River Forth which separates it from the parishes of St Ninians and Airth in Stirlingshire. The parish contains about 6183 Statute Acres there are no detached portions of this parish nor are there any detached portions of any other parish locally situated within it. A very small portion of this parish is in the County of Perth the remainder being in the County of Clackmannan. |
