098 | This name applies to the remain of a pictish Tower of Small dimensions and probably used as a watch Tower or look out place in connection with the larger one Known as Clentrolla Pictish Tower. This Tower was cleared out by the Duke of Sutherland in A.D. 1869 when several pieces of Bronze and shale ornaments (appearingly leg ornaments) were found, and are to be seen in the Museum at Dunrobin Castle. About one half Mile to the Northwest of this Tower large quantities of Tumuli are to be seen, several of these heaps have been opened but nothing has been found.
