029.07 ; 029.11 ; 029.12 ; 029.16 | This road connected Carluke with the Wall of Antoninus Pius at Castlecary Fort; branching, at Carluke, from the main road which ran from the wall of Severus, near Carlisle, to the west end of the wall of Antoninus Pius, near Glasgow. With the exception of a small portion through a wood, on 29/11, its site cannot now be traced in this Parish, but had to be inserted on the plans from the natural appearances on the ground, guided by the plan of it in Roy's Antiquities - no person in the neighborhood being able to point it out. |

Ordnance Survey - Stirling county
Ordnance Survey was established in the 18th century to create maps, surveys and associated records for the entirety of Great Britain. These records are arranged by county. This entry has been created to enable searching for Ordnance Survey records for the county of Stirling, which is in central Scotland. The boundaries of the county were altered by the Boundary Commissioners in 1891.
