065 | This name, signifying "Grey Cairn", is given to a circular enclosure, 163 feet in circumference, situated at a point midway between the Highland Railway and Obsdale, 700 yards eastward of Alness Ry [Railway] Station. In the centre of the encosure there is a large boulder standing which appears to be the only remains of this Cairn, the stones of which it was composed having been removed for building purposes. |
