127 ; 128 ; 134 ; 135 | [Situation] In the south end of Perthshire A parish in the south-east division of Perthshire bounded on the north-west and north by Glendevon; on the north-east and east by Fossaway on the south-east and south by Fossaway and Dollar and on the west by Dollar. The Devon which flows along all sides except the west - everywhere traces the boundary in its proess except cutting off two farms in the extreme south - touches the parish for 7ΒΌ miles - and while in contact with displays the chief deep romance of its scenery. A branch of the Ochills running east and west lies along the northern boundary of the parish and is terminated on the east by a conical shaped hill called seamab. MucKart is in the Presbytery of Auchterarder and Synod of Perth and Stirling. Patron the Crown . There are no detached portions of MucKart parish, nor are there any detached portions of any other parish within that of MucKart. |
