025.15 | A massive erection built in the Norman style of Architecture, it consists of two connected quadrangular blocks with battlemented tops. In the centre of the front line of the main block, a large circular tower rises to a considerable height above the walls of the building, two smaller towers of similar form, with loop windows abut from its side, and an elegant porch composed of miniature tower and battlements projects from its base. There are also square battlemented towers with loop windows at the corners of the front block. The second block is plain in construction, a battlement is carried round the top and round watch towers are placed at the angles and other points of the lines at irregular intervals. The courtyard at the back of the second block, is enclosed by a high semicircular wall, the adjacent offices are large and exhibit some details in the Norman Style. It is the property of Miss Mary Carmichael. |

The Schoolmaster receives the sum of £5 yearly from the heritors of the Parish and his house and garden are free, with these exceptions, he is entirely dependant on the scholars fees which are very small. Average attendance 25. Education reading, writing and arithmetic. |
