[Turn Pike] Road by "Lochlinn Bridge" (Trace 6, xvii-15) & bears this name as far as "Thinacre Mill" (xviii-13. Trace 1) from which point to where it enters the "Avon" (xviii-13, Trace 6) it is well known as "Powforth Burn". There are steep & wooded banks to it in several places. |
