Barncluith (continued) - All the Summer houses in the gardens are as old as the dwelling. Barncluith is the property of Lady Ruthven. It is held in Lease by the Duke of Hamilton. There is a Gate & a Lodge house, about 3 or four chains south of Barncluith, for entering the "High Parks" of Hamilton.
