[Situation] Running S. [South] Easterly and passing the W. [West] Side of KnocKingarroch farm house. A small river having its rise on the County of Ayr, and running in a Southerly direction, in its course receiving numerous tributaries, and passing Carsphairn Village on the East where it changes its course and flows for a considerable distance in an Easterly direction, leaving Marscalloch farm house on the East, where it again runs due South, and receiving Polmaddy Burn about ½ mile above its confluence with the "Water of Ken". |
