115 | The new Catholic Chapel built in the year 1845 at the base of the Dun is named "St. Michaels" after the old chapel which was attached to the burying Ground on the opposite side of the River. The stones marking the graves are not standing but lying flat on the ground. There is one stone erect near the middle of the "grave yard" having cut into it one of these Crosses seen at times marked on the back of a Priest's Chosbule. |

Ordnance Survey - Inverness county
Ordnance Survey was established in the 18th century to create maps, surveys and associated records for the entirety of Great Britain. These records are arranged by county. This entry has been created to enable searching for Ordnance Survey records for the county of Inverness, which is in the north of Scotland. The boundaries of the county were altered by the Boundary Commissioners in 1891.
