O.S. [Ordnance Survey] Milton
31:7:/58

Sir
There are two schools in this Ph. [Parish]
receiving Small sums yearly
from the Free Church. One is
called "Podge School", and the
other (having no name) is
situated near to and south
from the Currend. Neither
of them, the minister states,
ought to be termed "Free Church
School". It is in contemplation
to build a school next
year in this Ph. [Parish] wholly in
Connection with the Free
Church, and which will be
called "Free Church School"
I write this merely to save
remarks from the office on
the subject.

Ordnance Survey - Angus county

Ordnance Survey was established in the 18th century to create maps, surveys and associated records for the entirety of Great Britain. These records are arranged by county. This entry has been created to enable searching for Ordnance Survey records for the county of Angus, which is in the east of Scotland. The boundaries of the county were altered by the Boundary Commissioners in 1891.
