In answer to yours as I was leveling my
Stackyard which was very uneven
which consisted of a mixture of earth
and rotten rock I came on three Coffins
which consisted of four flagstones to
each about a foot below the ground
two Coffins had an Urn in each which con-
tained something like calcined bones the
third Coffin had no Urn There was no
Cairn of stones only a rise in the middle of the Stackyard which I took down about three feet

Ordnance Survey - Fife and Kinross counties

Ordnance Survey was established in the 18th century to create maps, surveys and associated records for the entirety of Great Britain. These records are arranged by county. This entry has been created to enable searching for Ordnance Survey records for the counties of Fife in the east of Scotland and Kinross in central Scotland. The boundaries of these counties were altered by the Boundary Commissioners in 1891.
