Parish of Dyke & Moy -- Co [County] of Elgin

Sapper C. Darling R.E. [Royal Engineers] reply to Remarks
There was a large Hall attached to the Ancient Castle of Darnaway, and a large Hall still stands on the Site of the old one, but it is all quite modern, with the exception of the interior of the roof which was supported by machinery untill the present walls were built to support it. It still retains the name of Randolph's Hall.
