044 | The late Mr Gauld. farmer in Westfield came upon three urns while draining this field. Two of them were broken before they were observed. the third was taken up whole but crumbled to peices when exposed to the air. This one was carved round the rim and body, about ten inches high and six inches across the mouth. The whole contained some bones and black earth. |
