044 | When trenching a portion of land a quarter of a mile southeast of Mains of Overhall an urn was found containing small pieces of bones, and earth. It was 2 feet deep and 20 inches wide across the mouth. It was beautifully carved but was unfortunately broken when brought to the farmsteading of Netherhall. |
