023 | This building was erected in 1790 as an Antiburgher or Seceder Meeting House but owing to Some party feuds and broils which had arisen among the disatisfied members it was little frequented. These disentions ended in the expulsion of the Revd. [Reverend] Patrick Milne who had been for upwards of twenty years their minister, and ultimatlely the building was offered for Sale and purchased by the present members called Congregational but at present has no appointed Minister. It is a plain building and will accommodate about 500 hearers a Sabbath School is held in the Vestry |
