023 | Applies to a portion of land which was formerly a moss from which the feuars of Peterhead got their peats, but now altogether under Cultivation and still known as Meg's Moss. Extract p.71. And every fewar above-mentioned shall have leve to cast peats ane day within the moss of the said burgh, as coms to four spades one day, for ilk tennement yearly, and the rest of the peats to be casten in the moss called Meg's moss; in the whilk moss, called Meg's moss, the feuars shall have sufficient lang spaces of breadth, as the samen may be maist evenslie, and commodiously had, with liberty of feal and divot, and common pasturage in the said moss, in manner usit and wont. |
