074 | This name applies to several small heaps of tumuli which are to be found near the foot of the hill of Brimmond, close to the small farmsteading of Ashiehillock. No information can be got respecting them in the locality. The general character is a circle of stones and earth, raised a few feet above the general surface, and about 18 feet in diameter. It is very probable that they mark the resting place of those who have fallen in some ancient battle. |

Ordnance Survey - Aberdeen county
Ordnance Survey was established in the 18th century to create maps, surveys and associated records for the entirety of Great Britain. These records are arranged by county. This entry has been created to enable searching for Ordnance Survey records for the county of Aberdeen, which is in the north east of Scotland. The boundaries of the county were altered by the Boundary Commissioners in 1891.
