042 | About 15 years ago when the late tenant of the old farm was employed removing a Cairn of stones he discovered a very neatly constructed Stone cist, composed of flags of freestone, and measuring between 4 & 5 feet in length by about 4 ft. [feet] in breadth, and containing the remains of a body lying East and west. There was an indentation in the earth resembling the size and shape of a pocket bible being about 2 inches deep and 4 inches square and was observed under the right shoulder of the deceased. (Same as Nos. [Numbers] 1 and 2.) |
