008 | A Druidical Circle situated a short distance west of Newark Smithy, it is in a good state of preservation 5 large Stones on the western side of the Circle are still standing the tallest of which is about 5 feet. (There is a very entire Druidical Circle at Newark in Crimmonmogate. The Centre Stone is of great Size and like several of the others forming the Circle must have been brought a great distance.
