039 | A beautiful stone building, now in course of erection, and to be used as a private place of interment for the family of Buchan of Auchmacoy. It is in the Elizabethan Style and is to contain Six compartments three below and three above, & to be vaulted and arched, over the entrance door, a small turret will rise a few feet above the roof Surmounted by a Stone cross. Mr. Buchan's only Son. who died about a year ago (now buried at Logie Buchan Church.) his remains is to be removed to this Mausoleum as soon as completed. |
