Mr James Rait. Mr Joseph McDonald. Mr John Sutherland. |
053 | In the year 1860 when Mr John Sutherland, farmer, Mains of Tulloch, was improving a portion of land S.E. [South East] of the farmsteading, he came upon a quantity of flint arrowheads. The place marked on trace is very near the spot where they were found, Flint arrowheads have been found on nearly every farm in this district. They were found on the farms of Boginthort, Craigpot and Craigmeadow. I cannot find out the exact place where they were found on any of the last named farms, |

Ordnance Survey - Aberdeen county
Ordnance Survey was established in the 18th century to create maps, surveys and associated records for the entirety of Great Britain. These records are arranged by county. This entry has been created to enable searching for Ordnance Survey records for the county of Aberdeen, which is in the north east of Scotland. The boundaries of the county were altered by the Boundary Commissioners in 1891.
