[Situation] In the Western Division of the County. [Signed] [AW Lachlan] 27 Feb 69 [February 1869] The parish of Glenmuick Tullich and Glengairn is in the Presbytery of Kincardine O'Neil, and Synod of Aberdeen. It is bounded on the north by the parishes of Strathdon, and Logie Coldstone; on the east by the parishes of Logie Coldston, Aboyne and Glentanner, in the County of Aberdeen, and the parish of Lochlee in the County of Forfar; on the south by the parish of Clova in the County of Forfar; and on the West by the parish of Craithie and Braemar in the County of Aberdeen It is not Known when the three ancient parishes of Glenmuick, Tullich, and Glengairn were united but they, for time immemorial, form one parish, retaining in the present parish name the names of the ancient parishes. There are no detached portions of this parish nor are there any detached portions of another parish situated within it. |
