This poser looks at an accusation of witchcraft against Annabill [Annabell] Stewart from Pollokshaws. It is taken from the Circuit Court Minute Books of the High Court of Justiciary and dates to 14 February 1677. The individual who appears to have suffered as a result of the witchcraft is Sir George Maxwell. (Crown copyright, National Records of Scotland, JC10/4, page 12).
