Gartly kirk session
A church court that sat within the presbytery of Strathbogie, from 1961 of Strathbogie and Fordyce, and from 1976, of Gordon, and the synod of Moray. The church of Gartly, which was rebuilt in 1621, was dedicated to St Andrew and formerly belonged to the Bishop of Moray. Ministry of the session is recorded from 1566.
