Dalkeith - Back Street United Presbyterian kirk session

A secession church court. The congregation of Dalkeith Associate Session, later known as Back Street United Presbyterian, was constituted in May 1749 within the Presbytery of Edinburgh, and around that same time a church was erected to house the congregation. In 1889, Duncan McIntosh, the fourth minister of Dalkeith Back Street, announced his intention to retire from his position. On 6th January 1891, Dalkeith Back Street United Presbyterian was formally dissolved and the church and manse were sold.
