Poser 360 - Minutes of the Synod of Fife, 1628
This poser is from the minutes of the Synod of Fife in 1628 (National Records of Scotland, CH2/154/1, page 318).
The clerk's very tightly written hand makes it hard to differentiate between the letters r, v and c and look out for the secretary hand letter a (sometimes with the attacking diagonal stroke) the tittle mark above the letter u, and the elaborate (but not consistently written) secretary hand h. In some cases it is almost impossible to work out whether the clerk meant a letter to be upper case or lower case. Note the use of punctuation - commas, semi-colons and full stops - but not in consistent modern grammatical usage.
