This poser is passage from Circuit Court Minute Books of the High Court of Justiciary, and dates to 1683 (Crown copyright, National Records of Scotland, JC10/3, page 95).
The hand is fairly regular and typical secretary hand. The ink blot in line 4 causes minor problems. Watch particularly out for the letter thorn, abbreviations and phonetic spellings.
