HMS 'Lord Warden' in Firth of Forth, 1885

Photograph of 'HMS' Lord Warden by Inchgarvie Island in the Firth of Forth taken during the Forth (Rail) Bridge construction. HMS Lord Warden was the last Broadside ship to be built for the Royal Navy. Her armour and engines made her and her sister ship, the Lord Clyde, the heaviest wooden ships ever built.
