Troqueer

A parish in the counties of Kirkcudbright and Dumfries. It was a quoad omnia parish (a parish for civil and religious purposes). In 1928 Dumfries burgh expanded to include parts of the parish, and thereafter these were regarded as being part of the county of Dumfries.
