Strathbogie presbytery

A Church of Scotland presbytery. It was in the synod of Moray and was originally known as the presbytery of Dunbennan until 1608. In 1719 the presbytery of Aberlour was supressed and some of its parishes transferred to the presbytery of Strathbogie. About the same time the parish of Bellie was transferred to Strathbogie from the presbytery of Elgin. Aberlour was re-erected in 1727.
