Strachur

A parish in the county of Argyll. It was a civil parish from about 1900 until 1975, before which it was part of the parish of Strachur and Stralachlan. (Kirk session records for Strachur can be found in the entry for the combined parish of Strachur and Strathlachlan.)

Strachur and Strathlachlan

A parish in the county of Argyll. It was a quoad omnia parish (a parish for civil and religious purposes). About 1900 the parish was split into the two civil parishes of Strachur and Stralachlan.
