Peebles

A parish partly in the county of Peebles and partly in the county of Selkirk. It was a quoad omnia parish (a parish for civil and religious purposes). In 1891 the Boundary Commissioners placed the civil parish wholly in the county of Peebles.

Peebles county

A county in the south of Scotland, also known as Peebleshire. The boundaries of the county were altered by the Boundary Commissioners in 1891.

Peebles presbytery

A Church of Scotland presbytery. It was in the synod of Lothian and Tweeddale, and was first mentioned in 1581.
