Lochcarron

A parish in the county of Ross and Cromarty. It was a quoad omnia parish (a parish for civil and religious purposes). The boundaries of the civil parish were altered by the Boundary Commissioners in 1891.

Lochcarron presbytery

A Church of Scotland presbytery. In the synod of Glenelg, it was erected in 1724 and until 1775 it was known as Gairloch. Before that, it may have been known as Kinlochewe.
