New Kilpatrick

A parish partly in the county of Dunbarton and partly in the county of Stirling. It was a quoad omnia parish (a parish for civil and religious purposes). In 1891 the Boundary Commissioners placed the civil parish wholly in the county of Dunbartonshire. However, the City of Glasgow annexed parts of the parish in the twentieth century, and these parts wre regarded as being in the county of Lanark. It was sometimes known as East Kilpatrick.

Old Kilpatrick

A parish in the county of Dunbarton. It was a quoad omnia parish (a parish for civil and religious purposes). It was sometimes known as West Kilpatrick.
