Cumbernauld

A parish in the county of Dunbarton. It was a quoad omnia parish (a parish for civil and religious purposes). The parish was disjoined from Kirkintilloch in 1649 and was originally called Easter Lenzie, but the name was changed to Cumbernauld in 1659.
