Berneray (Bishops Isles)

An island in the Outer Hebrides, to the south of Barra, one of the Bishops Isles, in the parish of Barra and the county of Inverness. It was sometimes known as Barra Head. There are other islands called Berneray and Bernera: see under Great Bernera, Little Bernera and Berneray (Sound of Harris).

An island in the Outer Hebrides, one of the Bishops Isles, to the south of Barra, in the parish of Barra and the county of Inverness. It was sometimes know as Sandera, Sanderay or Soundray.
