Aberdeen

A parish in the counties of Aberdeen and Kincardine. It was a quoad omnia parish (a parish for civil and religious purposes). Aberdeen county

A county in the north east of Scotland. The boundaries of the county were altered by the Boundary Commissioners in 1891.

Aberdeen synod

A Church of Scotland synod. The register of the Synod of Aberdeen begins in 1651. It contained the presbyteries of Aberdeen, Alford, Deer, Ellon, Fordyce, Garioch, Kincardine o' Neil and Turriff.
