The name applies from the Farm of Dalmuir in the west to the Canal Bridge at the Post Office in the s [south]-east. There is nothing remarkable at Dalmuir. There are two old Paper Mills here, & there is a Station on the Glasgow Dumbarton & Helensburgh Railway. There is a smithy at the Canal Bridge, but there is not a school. |
