025 | A Farm Steading the dwelling house of which is detached from the office houses at a short distance north from the latter. Remains of the Roman Wall ditch & the Fort of Auchindavy are barely traceable here, and in the southern gable wall of one of the office houses there is a Stone having a small figure of a man about 6 inches high cut upon it. This is a piece of Roman Sculpture. The Stone is built in with the head of the figure downwards. Auchindavy is the property of Mr. J. Duncan. |
