041 | This is a fine specimen of a Pictish dwelling, it is situated between the Morven Burn and Langwell Water, about 18 chains from their junction at Wagmore. It consists of a Conical green eminence the summit of which has been broken open, displays to the view part of the walls which are composed of massive flat blocks of fill-stone built in layers one over the other. A number of the stones which were dug out are lying about on its summit. It has no name. |
