002.10 | The remains of this building which are still standing in the Old grave yard consist of a portion of an Aisle roofed in and used as the burial place of the original proprietors of the estate of Rannes viz. the Hays of Rannes, it is doubted whether the aisle now standing belonged to the original building. It is supposed rather to have been a part of that which was added to the old building when it was repaired & fitted up for a protestant place of worship, there is no doubt, however that the Aisle occupies the site of the original St. Peter's. |

Ordnance Survey - Banff county
Ordnance Survey was established in the 18th century to create maps, surveys and associated records for the entirety of Great Britain. These records are arranged by county. This entry has been created to enable searching for Ordnance Survey records for the county of Banff, which is in the north east of Scotland. The boundaries of the county were altered by the Boundary Commissioners in 1891.
