CAMP (Remains of) [Little Conval] [note] Although this object is termed a camp and is generally Known by such it is realy the Vestiges of an entrenchment having probably been the place to which the Danes retired with their flocks in times of danger. It consists now of the remains of a wall formed with stones & earth now nearly level with the earth's Surface a number of loose stones what would seem to have been part of the wall now lie at the foundation of it. The term Camp is written on trace as it is the only name now used when speaking of it in this locality.
